Orchestras Live Series opens with Britten Sinfonia
The new season of Orchestras Live concerts at Turner Sims offers music from five centuries courtesy of some of the country's finest orchestras, with guest artists including Mark Padmore, pianist Howard Shelley, and David Atherton. The season opens on Thursday 11 February at 8pm with a performance from Britten Sinfonia, who will premiere a new work by one of the hottest new composers around, Nico Muhly. Russian pianist Yevgeny Sudbin has advised changes to his programme when he performs at Turner Sims on Tuesday 16 February.
