This concert is the result of a cooperation between Schallfeld, the University of Southampton’s Music Department and the Austrian Cultural Forum London. It follows a workshop with composers and researchers Linhao Li and Uri Agnon.

The program features the premiere of their works. They combine with new pieces for flute and electronics by Pablo Galaz and Davide Gagliardi, as well as a UK premiere by Maurizio Azzan.

Schallfeld is an international contemporary music ensemble based in Graz, founded in 2013. and known for its virtuosity and sensitivity to sound. It explores innovative concert formats and the interaction with performance spaces to create new listening experiences. In addition to its own concert series in Graz, Schallfeld regularly performs at major international festivals and has collaborated with leading academic institutions.
