Celebrated pianist Gwilym Simcock and rising star saxophonist Emma Rawicz bring us music from their hotly anticipated duo release, ‘Big Visit’.

Gwilym Simcock has carved out a career as one of the most gifted pianists and imaginative composers on the European scene.  He moves effortlessly between jazz and classical music. 22 year-old Emma Rawicz has been hailed as an exceptional talent by the likes of Jamie Cullum, Jazzwise and the BBC. She has released two albums, won awards, toured internationally and led various ensembles, including her 20-piece Jazz Orchestra.

This musical collaboration has a special depth and freedom that has blossomed in just a short space of time, maturing rapidly into a unique and exciting musical force. Emma and Gwilym have composed for each other and collaborated on arrangements, drawing on the many common influences they share.

The success of this partnership has led them to their first album release, ‘Big Visit’. Expect a seamless blend of original arrangements from each of these distinctive composers as well as carefully selected standards and beyond, infused with their shared love of engaging, energetic and joyful music.
