Leave a legacy

Let your passions live on. Including a gift in your will is a wonderful way to share a world of music with future generations.

In 1967 Miss Margaret Grassam Sims left a gift to the University of Southampton to transform the musical landscape of the city. Her legacy created Turner Sims. Yours could spread the joy of live music across our region.

A lasting impact

Each year at Turner Sims:

  • Audiences experience some of the finest musicians in the world
  • Rising stars gain performance opportunities that help transform their careers
  • School groups watch professional concerts for free
  • Young people develop skills and confidence to grow their careers and aspirations
  • People share extraordinary experiences and make memories together

Gifts in wills help make it possible.

How your gift will help

You can leave your gift for a specific purpose or for us to use where it’s needed most. It could help transform our building or fund community programmes. The choice is yours.

Every penny will enable more people to experience the joy you gained from live music.

How to leave a gift in your will

We are fortunate to be part of the University of Southampton, with a team of experts in managing legacies.

Your gift should be made to the University of Southampton [HMRC Reference: X19140]. If you state that it’s for Turner Sims, it will only be spent by us for your chosen purpose.

We can talk you through the process and provide wording to include in your will.
