EXHIBITION: ANTONY CECIL-WRIGHT | SEEING NOT THE SOLID

EXHIBITION

Seeing not the Solid

Antony Cecil-Wright
21st January – 29th February 2020

Antony studied at Winchester School of Art, taking an MA in Contemporary Art & Theory in the 1990s.

His practice has evolved from abstract painting with acrylics on perspex; to his current work, manipulating digital photographs. The camera is his sketch pad and the laptop is his studio.

To contextualise this process: physics describes a universe of matter, composed of ever more obscure particles. Yet habitually, this is not how we experience the world of seemingly solid objects.

The images, presented here, are his attempt to represent this apparent dichotomy.

All prints are available to purchase from the Box Office on Forex board, in A1 at £70 and A2 at £50 each. Other formats and sizes are available on request.
