Young People

We welcome students and young creatives to gain professional experience, confidence and connections.

Through internships and programmes, we help young people gain music industry experience. They help us make Turner Sims a go-to place for their generation.

The Vibe

The Vibe is a paid opportunity for music lovers aged 18-25 living in SO postcodes.

Each autumn, we recruit a new Vibe Collective to programme and produce events at Turner Sims. We support them throughout the year to gain key skills and music industry experience.

The Vibe Collective transform our spaces into exciting and dynamic venues to showcase new and local talent. Acts have included student-led ensembles, Isla Croll and rap artist Baby Panna.

The next round of applications for The Vibe Collective is open until Monday 25 November 2024.

Future Producers work with the Turner Sims team to plan, programme and promote a performance of their choice at the venue. We help them gain valuable skills and experience to aid their future careers.

The next round of applications for Future Producers will open in November 2024.
