Robin Ireland joins the Elias String Quartet to perform some of the greatest string quintets ever written.

Discover Mozart’s expansive lyricism and dazzling counterpoint contrasted with Beamish’s reflective Epilogue. The Elias String Quartet are known for their ability to communicate musical meaning. Associate Artists at Turner Sims from 2012-2015, they have gained an international following with regular tours across Europe and the US. The quartet are keen advocates of contemporary music and have commissioned many works by composers including Sally Beamish.

Violist Robin Ireland was a member of the celebrated Lindsay String Quartet for 20 years. He is now a sought-after soloist, chamber musician, composer, and teacher.

We are introducing new standard price bands this season to widen access to the joy of live music. Price Bands A – C offer a choice of prices to suit different budgets, depending on where you sit. Price Band C will give everyone the option of accessing lower standard ticket prices than we’ve previously offered.
